Todd Hayes, age 48 of Goshen, KY passed away 9:56 AM, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at his residence of natural causes. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday November 12, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Michael Higgins officiating with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017, and from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Todd was born in Hopkinsville, KY the son of Betty Lancaster Hayes and the late Robert Edward “Bob” Hayes. He worked as an Agricultural Statistician for the USDA. He was a member of Westport Road Church of Christ in Louisville and also a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity at Austin Peay State University.
Besides his mother, survivors include his wife of 18 years, Emily Shackleford Hayes of Goshen, KY; one son, Will Hayes of the home; one beloved and devoted dog, Huckleberry Hayes; two sisters, Sandy Higgins and her husband, Michael of Hendersonville, TN and Leigh Anne Price and her husband, Todd of Cadiz, KY; adopted sister, Sarita Darby; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to your local children’s hospital.
