William “Bill” Grace, age 78, of Pyle Lane in Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Poe officiating with burial to follow in Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West with full military honors. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Bill was born on September 24, 1939, in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Earl and Virginia Rose Grace. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and he was a 32 degree Mason. He retired as a 1st Sgt. from the United States Army and then worked for the Civil Service at Fort Campbell. After retirement he worked part time at Boot’s Randolph Golf Course in Cadiz and part time hauling tires for Coleman’s Tire. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Hilde Grace and brother, Bobby Grace.
Survivors include his wife of 18 yrs., Willie Grace of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Angie Coleman and husband Allen of Cerulean, KY; his sons, Thomas Grace of Hopkinsville, KY, Tracey Coleman and wife Beth of Cerulean, KY, Troy Coleman and wife Tammie of Hopkinsville, KY; his sister Betty Stewart and husband Donnie of Cadiz, KY; ten grandchildren, Carl Coleman and wife Alexa, Nicolas Coleman and wife Tonya Jo, Michael Grace and wife Kaitlyn, Amanda Coleman, Jennifer Grace, Kristin Coleman, Kayla Coleman, Tayler Coleman, Kendall Coleman, Trinitie Coleman; eleven great grandchildren, Dakota, Travis, Cordell, Isley, Braden, Caden, Adam, Ashton, Aaron, Adrian, and Coleson; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled Veteran’s.
