Walter William Blane

Walter William Blane, age 90, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ashby officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Mr. Blane was born on August 7, 1927, in Roaring Springs, KY, to the late William S. and Laura Mae Thomas Blane. He worked for Agri-Chem for over 20 years as a Gas delivery man. He was in the United States Army and was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher and Deacon.
   Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Helen Gamble Blane of Hopkinsville; his son, Barry Blane and his wife, Linda of Cadiz; his daughter, Lisa Meacham of Hopkinsville; two brothers, James A. Blane and Robert W. Blane both of Hopkinsville; his sister, Jo Ann Keown of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
