Wayne Woodruff, age 64, of Quisenberry Lane in Hopkinsville, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Emmanuel’s Promise Church, 2420 E. Home Road Springfield, OH with visitation starting at 1:00PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Woodruff was born in Springfield, OH, on November 4, 1953, to the late Silas Wayne Woodruff Sr. and Florence Irene Brooks Woodruff. He was a retired mechanic and owner and operator of C & W Auto Repair. He was a member of Herndon United Methodist Church. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Woodruff and Daniel Woodruff.
He had a passion for Harley’s, hunting, fishing, listening to Bluegrass Gospel, but most importantly he had a passion for God, his Church, and his family. He was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Vicki Woodruff of Hopkinsville; his son, Wayne Woodruff and his wife Trusie of Springfield, OH; two daughters, Stacy Brown and her husband Robert of Hilliard, OH, Kelly Roberts of Hopkinsville; one brother, John Woodruff and his wife Jayne of Urbana, OH; one sister, Joanna Winkler of Springfield, OH; eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Herndon United Methodist Church or Diabetes Hopkinsville Resource Center.
