Luis C. Galvan

   Mr. Luis C. Galvan, age 107, of Clarksville, TN who moved here from El Paso, TX passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Signature Healthcare in Clarksville, TN of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 21, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop David Salmoran officiating and burial to follow in Haley’s Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Friday, July 21, 2017. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Galvan was born August 25, 1909, in Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Mr. Galvan and Mrs. Secundina Caldera Galvan. He was a Police Officer in Mexico and worked in a nursery in California. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his son Luis Galvan, Jr.
   Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Francisca N. Galvan of Clarksville, TN; three step-sons Rick Natera and his wife Milagros of Hawaii, Robert Natera of El Paso, TX, Victor H. Natera of El Paso, TX; three step-daughters Marisela Baker of Hopkinsville, Yolanda Sandoval and her husband Juan of San Antonio, TX, Maria C. Romero of Clarksville, TN; twenty grandchildren Alfredo Valdez, Briana Natera, Robert Natera Jr., Aleida Otero, Mia Baker, Sarah Natera, Landon R. Baker, Ashley R. Baker, Shane R. Baker, Francis Griffin, Kelvin Griffin, Stepheny Natera, Beatriz Natera, Victor Natera Jr., Alex Natera, Tray Natera, Cassidy Natera, Katie Natera; and five great grandchildren Raven Elizabeth Griffin, Francheska Michaela Rodriguez, Aavalynn Victoria Belle Griffin.
