Harold Lancaster

    Harold “RoRo” Lancaster, age 76, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away at 8:46 PM, Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Brumfield and Rev. Melvin Felts officiating with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Mr. Lancaster was born on May 6, 1941, in Christian County, KY, to the late Jesse Carl”JC” and Nancy Witt Mitchell Lancaster. He was a farmer and a veteran of the US Army. RoRo was a member of Kelly Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Christian County Conservation District and the Kentucky Cattlemen Association. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lacy and Hubert Lancaster; his sisters, infants Martha, Mary and Mildred Cannon.
   Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Wanda Nichols Lancaster of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Tina Newby and her husband, Jason of Hopkinsville, KY; his brothers, Jesse, Richard and Charlie Lancaster all of Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters, Barbara “Bobbie” Morrisey of Clarksville, TN, Oneta Hughes of Hopkinsville, KY, and Linda Rogers of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Lacie Beth Newby of Hopkinsville, KY, Justin and Jacob Newby both of Hopkinsville, KY.
