Flossie Jane Settle

               
Flossie Jane Settle, age 68, of Huffman Mill Road, passed away at 7:55 AM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Graveside Services will be at 10:00AM, Monday, March 27, 2017 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Mrs. Settle was born in Christian County, KY on February 11, 1949 to the late Hubert “Bud” Dossett Sr. and Gladys Dunn Dossett. She was a hairdresser; she was owner operator and seamstress at Material Things. She was a volunteer for Blazer Bingo, and she was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and a great cook and very talented person. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hubert “Buddy” Everett Dossett Jr. in 1997.
Flossie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Billy W. Settle of Hopkinsville; her three sons Charlie Pryor of Hopkinsville, Wesley Pryor of Hopkinsville, Travis Orten of Hopkinsville, and her one step-son Wes Settle of Hopkinsville; her two step-daughters, Karen Perkins of Daytona, FL, and Shannon D. Foor of Daytona, FL; her two sisters, Marilyn Shannon and her husband, Eddie of Hopkinsville, and Rebecca Dery of Hopkinsville; fifteen grandchildren and a great-grandson.
