William H. ”Bill” Skinner, age 74, of, Highland School Road Hopkinsville passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Skinner officiating with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM -8:00PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Skinner was born in Cadiz, KY on December 17, 1943; the son of the late Douglas Blane and Ann Jackson Skinner. He was a veteran in the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Ebonite. Bill was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and Donnie Skinner; his brother-in-law, Jackie McAlister.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jinnie McDaniel of Hopkinsville; his son, Tony W. Mixon and his wife, Bridgid of Crystal River, FL; his brother, Doug Skinner and his wife, Ellen of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Bonnie McAlister of Princeton, and Patty Rogers and her husband, Bob of Cadiz; his grandson, Tony R. Mixon and his wife, Chelsie; his great grandchildren, Raylynn and Lannah Mixon.
