William Eugene McCord II

William Eugene McCord, II, age 58, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his residence of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. McCord was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on August 29, 1963, the son of the late William Eugene McCord, Sr. and Martha Moore McCord. William was an outside supply man for Warrior Coal Company. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three brothers, Daniel Ray McCord, Wendell Eugene McCord, Marlin Eugene McCord; and his two sisters, Sharron Windham and Martha Regina McCord.

   Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Karen West McCord of Hopkinsville; his two sons, John Daniel McCord and Zachary Tyler McCord both of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Brie Ann Flores of Elkton; his sister, Norma Taylor of Hopkinsville; and his four grandchildren.
