William “Bill” Blake age 79, of Hopkinsville passed away on April 26, 2020, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center of natural causes. Memorial service will be at 1:00PM Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brother Autry Moore officiating with burial to follow in Blake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-1PM on June 27, 2020 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Blake was born in Todd County, KY on June 11, 1940, the son of the late Richard and Effie Whitman Blake. He was owner of Bill Auto Electric. He was a member of Eastview Baptist Church. Bill was preceded in death by his son, William Timothy “Tim” Blake in 2016.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Mary Hall Blake of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Tracy King and her husband Jose of Clarksville, TN; his brothers, Etherd Blake and his wife Diane of Elkton, KY, and Dan Blake and his wife Nancy of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Rita Casey and her husband Earl of Lewisburg, and Ann Wilson and her husband John of Cliffy; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
