Walton Jackson Ebling, age 78, of Hopkinsville, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Crick officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Ebling was born in Muhlenberg County, KY, on May 18, 1941, to the late William Clarence “Jack” and Stella Lee Ebling. He started his career as a truck driver for Rogers Group & Howard Morris Trucking, he then went on to work for McIntosh Construction in Clarksville, TN, where he retired. In the “CB World” he was known as “Rough Rider”. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his three brothers, Lonnie Ebling, Verno Ebling, and Bunk Ebling; his two sisters, Christina Martin, and Wiladean Crick.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Martha F. Ebling of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Frances “Fran” Adams and her husband Jerry of Hopkinsville; one granddaughter, Lillie Stokes and Mark Whitledge of Webster County; one great grandson, Avery Whitledge; and many very special nieces and nephews.
