Walter Edward Evitts

Walter Edward Evitts, age 52, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Baptist Health in Madisonville of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Coffee Connection in Hopkinsville, KY. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Evitts was born in Pembroke, on June 26, 1970, the son of the late Thomas Edward Evitts and Mae Simpson. Walter was an integral part of the community of Coffee Connection and will be sorely missed. He enjoyed helping people and would spend his time laughing with friends or counseling others. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Simpson.

Survivors include his sons, Tayler Evitts of Hopkinsville and Gavin Calvin of Hopkinsville; his brothers, Thomas Evitts of Arizona and Jeff Simpson of Louisville.
