Virginia Nell Buckley

               
Virginia Nell Buckley, age 84, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Baptist Health in Madisonville of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. John Franklin officiating and burial to follow at Flat Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

   Mrs. Buckley was born in Christian County, KY, on August 31, 1936, the daughter of the late Wilson Ryan and Lois Shelton Taylor. She was a homemaker and worker at Christian County Water District and also a navy wife. Virginia was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death is her 1st husband, Bertie Morris and her 2nd husband, Roy Buckley.

   Survivors include her sons, Steven Morris and his wife Regina of Crofton, KY and Randall Morris of Hillsboro, OH; her step-daughter, Robin Doss and her husband Mike of Hopkinsville; her brother, Kenneth R. Taylor of Elkton, KY; her sister, Carolyn Lacy and her husband Stykie of Crofton, KY; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
