Violet Pryor Wooten

Violet Pryor Wooten, age 93, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at her home of natural causes. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Flatlick Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Wooten was born in Trigg County, KY, on November 15, 1928, the daughter of the late Lawrence Walton and Mary Wright Pryor. She worked at Christian County Public School in the cafeteria and retired after 25 years. Violet was a member of Flatlick Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Herman L. Wooten Jr.; and her brother, Hulan Pryor.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Wooten Manning (Patrick), of Clarksville, TN, and Karen Wooten, of Hopkinsville, KY.
