Vernon Leo Goodwin Sr.

Vernon Leo Goodwin Sr., age 78, of Wing Tip Circle Drive passed away July 27, 2017 at Shady Lawn Nursing and Rehab Circle in Cadiz, KY of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Giltner officiating and burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 30, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.    
Mr. Goodwin was born in Muses Mill, KY, on June 17, 1939 to the late Otha Dean Merreal Agnes Latham Goodwin. Vernon was the owner of Ideal Gas Station on Ft. Campbell Blvd for over 30 years. He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam War. Mr. Goodwin was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and VFW Post 1913, American Legion and the Eagles. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Stevenson.
Survivors include wife of 30 years, Ann Ezell Goodwin of Hopkinsville; his sons, Vernon Goodwin Jr. of Hopkinsville, Eddie Goodwin of Hopkinsville, and Bobby Huddleston of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Anna Marie Huddleston of Hopkinsville; two brothers, and six sisters; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
