Thomas Petrovich

Thomas Petrovich, age 70, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away at 6:25 PM on Friday, January 11, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center after a long battle with COPD. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West with Richard Stanley officiating and inurnment following. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
   Thomas was born in Oneida, New York, on May 10, 1948, to the late John Joseph and Annabelle Ayers Petrovich. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of the VFW and the Elks Club. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Author Petrovich.
   Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Hazel Petrovich of Hopkinsville; one daughter, Sandi Velez and her husband Mike of Hopkinsville; one brother, John Petrovich of Colorado; one sister, Pat Petrovich of California; two grandchildren, Summer Gerami and Amber Mosch; and one great grandchild, Everleigh Gerami.
