Thelma C. Mitchell

Thelma C. “Dolly” Mitchell, age 96 of Hopkinsville, KY passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Christian Health Center of natural causes. Private Family Services will be at a later date. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mitchell was born November 16, 1921 in Christian County, KY, the daughter of the late Reno and Blanche Jones Mason. She was a retired nurse’s aide. Dolly was a member Lakeview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Shaw and her second husband, Lacy Mitchell.
Survivors include son, Earl Ray Shaw and his wife Dolores, of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren, Darryl Ray Shaw and Daniel Lacy Shaw; three great grandchildren, Danielle Newhouse, Madison Shaw, Dylan Shaw; and one great great granddaughter, Delilah Shaw.
