Shirley Lois Carnal

               
Shirley Lois Ashby Carnal, age 91 of Millbrooke Drive passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Friday, April 19, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Carden officiating with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation hours will be from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, Friday, April 19, 2019 at Maddux- Fuqua- Hinton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carnal was born in Slaughters, KY on October 11, 1927, and is the daughter of the late Harry Elvin Ashby and Natalie Williams.  She was self-employed at Shirley’s Indian Hills Fabric Shop from 1983 to 1993, and she was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Major Carnal, and her brother Norman Ashby.

Survivors include daughters, Marsha Lennon and her husband, James of Hopkinsville, and Debbie Warner of Edwardsville, IL; her brother Harry Ashby of Madisonville; five grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
