   Shirley Henderson Adams, age 66, of Hopkinsville, passed away on November 4, 2020, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ashby officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Mrs. Adams was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on October 20, 1954, to the late William Thomas and Mildred Elizabeth Scott Henderson. She retired from Ebonite and was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Adams, Jr.; her brothers, Jerry Wayne Henderson and Thomas “Tommy” Henderson.

   Survivors include her son John Thomas Adams, III and his wife Jennifer of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Jeri Lynn Adams of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Mary Katherine Powell and her husband Glenn of Hopkinsville, and Peggy McLaughlin and her husband Scott of Hopkinsville; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Adams, Meghan Joanne Adams, Oscar John Thomas Adams IV, Abigail Layne Adams, and Joshua Mitchell Harris; her great granddaughter, Aspen Rae Harris.
