Sharon Shaw Wright

Sharon Shaw Wright, age 75, of Crofton, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Mervin Yoder officiating and burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Wright was born on May 3, 1948, the daughter of the late Glenn and Marna Shaw. She worked for 27 years at Breathitt Veterinary Center and she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright; her daughter, Cynthia Danick; and her brothers, Glenn Shaw and Shannon Shaw.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Wright-East of Crofton; her son-in-law, Michael Danick of Hopkinsville; and her grandchildren, Addyson Danick (Edward Barton), Jacob East, and Lilly East.
