Sara Tuggle

               
   Sara Barnes Tuggle, age 78, of Hopkinsville, passed away on May 6, 2020, at her daughter’s home of natural causes. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Mrs. Tuggle was born in Hopkinsville, KY on June 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Oscar Hayden and Mary Agnes Corley Barnes. Sara was a secretary for University of Kentucky Pennyroyal Farm Analysis. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her half-sister, Jessie Word.

   Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Abner E. Tuggle of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Lori Barnes of Hopkinsville; her brothers, Garland Barnes of Rocky Face, GA, Jim Barnes of Westlake, OH and his wife Dee Dee.

   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Pennyroyal Hospice at 220 Burley Avenue, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
