Sandra J. Waldrop Guida

Sandra J. Waldrop Guida, age 64, of Oxnard, CA, formally of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Brown officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Sandra was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on February 15, 1957, the daughter of the late William and Addie Mae Haley Waldrop. She was a tax and accountant professional for H&R Block for 22 years, and ACC Precision for 15 years. Sandra was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Richard Guida, Jr.; her brother, Wayne Waldrop; and her sister, Jeanette Waldrop.

Survivors include her five brothers, Billy Waldrop and his wife Carol, Jerry Waldrop and his wife Sarah, Eugene Waldrop, Jimmy Waldrop and his wife Belinda, Don Waldrop and his wife Penny all of Hopkinsville; her two sisters, Elaine Waldrop Beaulieu and her husband Joe, and Judy Waldrop Cartwright both of Hopkinsville.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
