Roy Neal Rogers

               
   
   Roy Rogers, age 71, of Hopkinsville passed away on July 14, 2020, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday July 20, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

   Mr. Rogers was born in Hopkinsville, KY on June 30, 1949, the son of the late Richard Earl and Virginia Dickinson Rogers. Roy was a veteran in the US Army serving during the Vietnam War, he was also a carpenter. He was a member of Gracey West Union Baptist Church and the VFW. He was preceded in death by his great grandson, Jeremiah Buckner.

   Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Melinda Poe Rogers of Hopkinsville; his daughters, Cynthia Reene Shelton and her husband Larry Keith of Christian County, and Amanda Rogers Stevens and her husband Jared of Hopkinsville; his brother, Richard Carol Rogers and his wife Cary of Crofton; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
