Roy Houchens

               
   Roy Houchens, age 78, of Hopkinsville, passed away on April 18, 2020, at his home, of natural causes. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Mr. Houchens was born in Hopkinsville, KY on June 3, 1941, the son of the late William Carl Houchens and Kathryn Page Jones. Roy was a milkman for over 44 years. He was a member of New Ebenezer Church, he attended Dogwood Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie Houchens and Clay Houchens.

   Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Patty Wilson Houchens of Hopkinsville; his sons, Willie Houchens and his wife Gayla of Hopkinsville and Ricky Houchens of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Lisa Wilson of Hopkinsville; his brother, Ronnie Houchens and his wife Cassandra of Christian County; his sisters, Ilene Long of Christian County, Elaine Perry and her husband Raymond of Hopkinsville, Janice Mayes and her husband Donnie of Hopkinsville, Linda Curtis and her husband Bill of Hopkinsville, Pamela “Pam” Dill of Hopkinsville, and Kathy Marsh of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Wayne Wilson II and his wife Kelly, Abigail Houchens, Allison Houchens, and Matthew Houchens.
