Rosa Lee Encinias, age 56, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Skinner officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Encinias was born in Pembroke, KY, on December 13, 1964, the daughter of the late James and Mary E. Irvin Carroll. She worked at OEM as a welder. Rosa was a member of Cross Point Ministries. She was an avid bowler and beloved wife, mother and nanny.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Kenneth Encinias of Hopkinsville, KY; her son, Randall Joiner and his wife Lorie of Hopkinsville; her daughters, Jessica Lynn Carroll of Cadiz, KY; Tina Moore Bailon of Morgantown, IN; Trisha Moore Martinez of Scottsburg, IN; her stepson, Danny Encinias of Hopkinsville, KY; her stepdaughters, Maria Daugherty and her husband Gregory of Hopkinsville; Kayla Parker of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Susan Watkins of Stuart, OK; Polly Moore Higgins of Scottsburg, IN; Margaret Kirkpatrick of McAllister, OK; eighteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
