Ronnie “Turkey” Duke, age 60, of, Mannington Loop Crofton passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 30, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Mr. P.J. Hicks officiating with burial to follow in Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM -8:00PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Duke was born in Christian County, KY on March 31, 1958; the son of the late James Adrian and Margie Novella Nixon Duke. He was a heavy machine operator for United Van & Truck. He was preceded in death by his brother, James “Rooster” Duke.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Laura Hamilton Duke of Crofton; his son, James L. Duke of Crofton; his daughter, Holly A. Alder and her husband, Rick of Hopkinsville; his brother, Randy Duke of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Carolyn Johnson and her husband, Doug of Hopkinsville, Mary Joyce Johnson and her husband, Jerry of Hopkinsville, Peggy Brown and her husband, Larry of Hopkinsville, and Shirley Passanau and her husband Albert of Hopkinsville; and six grandchildren, Makaylah C. Alder, James L. Duke, Charles A. Duke, Brayden A. Duke, Zorayda L. Alder, and Emily L. Duke.
