Roberta Louise Hesson

               
   Roberta “Bobbi” Hesson, 73, of North Greenville Road, passed away on June 15, 2020, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. (Due to the current restrictions to funeral homes, we are only allowed to have 33% building capacity in our establishments at any given time so please be understanding of these requirements. Due to social distancing recommendations, attendees to visitations and funerals must maintain at least six foot of social distance, if they are not of the same household.)
Mrs. Hesson was born in Watertown, MA, on December 27, 1946, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Barrett Hastings. She was a homemaker. Bobbi was also a member of the House of Love in Crofton, KY. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Peggy MacKenzie; and her grandson, Calen Stone Grace.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Wayne Hesson of Christian County, her sons, Little Wayne Hesson and his wife Amanda of Oak Grove, David Hastings and his wife Chrissy of New Mexico, and John Bob Hesson of Crofton; her daughters, Michelle English and her Fiancé Brian Williamson of Hopkinsville, and Dawn Grace and her husband Shannon of Crofton; her brother Richard Hastings of Natick, MA; her nine grandchildren, Calvin, Stephanie, Justin, Andrew, Jeremy, Presley, Tyler, Chandler, and Jason; and her five great grandchildren, Mattison, Kamryn, Chloe, Zoey, and Lelynd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society at 952 Fairview Avenue, Suite 4, Bowling Green, KY 42101 or to Pennyroyal Hospice at 220 Burley Avenue, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
