Robert "Bob" Tuggle

Robert A. “Bob” Tuggle, age 86, of Christian County, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brother David Banister officiating and burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Tuggle was born March 10, 1934, in Clinton County, the son of the late John Wesley and Linnie Higgenbotom Tuggle. Bob was a social worker at Western State Hospital for over 35 Years. He was a star basketball player at Clinton County High School in Albany, KY. He was of the Methodist Faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Peary Tuggle, James Thomas Tuggle, Jessie Tuggle and Joe Tuggle.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Redding Tuggle of Christian County; his brother, Glene Ray Tuggle and his wife Norma of Albany, KY; his sisters, Barbara Huccaby and her husband Perry of Hodgenville, KY, Jane Morris of Warsaw, KY, and Virginia Taylor of Nashville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made in his memory to Pembroke Methodist Church.
