Robert K. Flick Sr

Robert K. Flick, Sr., age 62, of Hopkinsville, passed away on December 13, 2020, at his home of natural causes. Private Funeral Services will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. Due to Covid-19 the family will have a walk-thru visitation and all attendees will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. The walk-thru visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Mr. Flick was born in Christian County, KY, on October 9, 1958, the son of the late Edward Michael and Maybell Marie Hart Flick. He was a retired supervisor after 41 years from Atmos Energy. Robert was a member at Edgewood Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Jaycee’s, the Optimus Club, Leadership of Hopkinsville, the Chamber of Commerce, the Boys and Girls Club, Real Men Read, and former board member of the United Way. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis and Jimmy Flick; his sister, Janice Flick Taylor.

   Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Nancy Flick of Hopkinsville; his son, Robert Keith Flick, II and his wife, Leslie; his daughter, Brooke Flick Lovett and her husband, Brent of Benton, KY; his brothers, Michael Flick and his wife, Sylvia of Lexington, KY, and David Flick and his wife, Kelly of Hopkinsville; three grandchildren, Tori Flick, Turner Flick and Madden Lovett.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or Max’s Hope.
