Rickie Carson Knight

   
Rickie “Cowboy” Knight, age 67, of Hopkinsville passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen Private Graveside Services to be held at a later date in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

   Mr. Knight was born in Todd County, KY, on July 29, 1953, the son of the late George Albert and Julia Mae Wilson Knight. Cowboy was a factory worker, a security guard, and drove Amish. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, and two sisters.

   Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Janice Hancock Knight of Hopkinsville; his son, Rickie Carson Knight, II, of Hopkinsville; his daughters, Kayla Summer Knight of Hopkinsville, Heather West and her husband, Leon of Hopkinsville, and Elizabeth Cox and her husband, Ammeth of Ft. Smith, AR; his ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
