Relda Lou Hardison

Relda Lou Hardison, age 75, of Pembroke, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Christian Heights nursing home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke with Rev. Terry Joiner officiating and burial to follow in Hardison Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Ms. Hardison was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on January 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Charles J. C. Hardison and Mildred Hardison Latham. Relda was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Zilpha “Zip” Dean Hardison.

   Survivors include her daughters, Misty Brawner Green and her husband Jeff of Hopkinsville, and Christy Brawner Thomas and her husband Billy of Clarksville; her son, Wesley Shane Hardison of Hopkinsville; six grandchildren, Amber Thienaman, Chelsie Cusik, C.J. Alexander, Alayna Lee Green, Dallas Ray Green and Brandi Lee Green, and four great grandchildren, Cayden Vanlue, Anna Vanlue, Addylyn Cusik, and Peyton Thieneman.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
