Rabourn Benton, age 72, of Trenton, KY, passed away at 4:45 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke with Rev. Don Garrett officiating and burial to follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019, at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke.
Mr. Benton was born in Clarksville, TN, on September 22, 1947, to the late Robert Benton and Eva O’Bryant Benton. He was a member of Elkton Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Adam Benton in 2004; and one brother, Robert W. Benton.
Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Davis and her husband Damoney of Trenton, Alesha Nicole Benton of Hopkinsville; one brother, Aldon Benton of Guthrie; two grandchildren, Amy Whittlesey and her husband Shawn Whittlesey Jr., Bradley Stokes; three great grandchildren, Gabriel, Lucas, and Noah Whittlesey.
