Porter Thomas Oliver

Porter Thomas Oliver, age 60, of Pembroke, KY, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke, KY with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be at Maddux Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Maddux Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Porter was born on July 10, 1960, the son of George Oliver Jr., and the late Glenda Carol Teague Oliver. He was a retired truck driver for Rose Transport Company and was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Marty Oliver and his sister, Geraldine Robertson.

In addition to his father, survivors include his daughter, Kristy Sanchez-Robles and her husband Lucio “Javier” of Sharon Grove, KY; his brother, Elvis Oliver of Elkton, KY; his sisters, Tonya Francies and her husband Michael of Crofton, KY and Alice Harris and her husband Gary of Cadiz, KY and his two grandchildren, Lucio “LJ” Sanchez-Robles and Nicholas Sanchez-Robles.
