Paul Howard Wells

Paul Howard Wells, age 72, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, at his residence of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Judges Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. Wells was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on December 5, 1948, the son of the late Herman and Vivian Brinkley Wells. Paul was a registered nurse and teacher at Western State Hospital for over 20 years. He was a member of Faith Chapel General Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his friend, Clifford Ray Rust in 2013; his brother, Russell West Wells, his sister, Lola Mae Wells Young.

Survivors include his brother, Anthony Wells and his wife Aileen of Jacksonville, FL; his nieces, Barbara Gee and her husband Benjamin of Hopkinsville; and Jessica Wells of Florida; his nephews, Brian Wells of Georgia, Darren Wells of Hopkinsville, Tommy Wells of Hopkinsville, Shannon Wells and his wife Shawn of Hopkinsville, and Travis Wells and his wife Tina of Hopkinsville.
