Paul K. Oliver

Paul K. Oliver, age 81, of Todd County, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Nick Stamps and Rev. Leroy Crouch officiating and burial to follow in Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. Oliver was born in Todd County KY, on June 21, 1940 the son of the late Gobel and Cora Frederick Oliver. Paul had worked as a Counter Salesman at Barnes Motor Company, Titsworth Ford and was a Parts Salesman at Area Supply. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, W.G. Oliver, William Oliver, and his sister, Bessie Wood.

   Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joyce Oliver; his daughter, Julia Stamps and her husband Nick of Russellville, KY; his brother, Earl Oliver of Elkton, KY; his sisters, Imogene Johnson of Elkton, Joyce Gamble of Christian County, Nancy Walker of Hopkinsville, KY, Sue Butler of Clarksville, TN, Peggy Gibson of Elkton, KY; his four granddaughters, Juliana Stamps, Emily Stamps, Natalie Stamps, and Jaylene Stamps.
