Patsy Jane Stagner

Patsy Jane Frese Stagner, age 86, of Cadiz, passed away on February 28, 2020, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 6, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Pastor Oller officiating and burial to follow in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery-West. Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

   Mrs. Stagner was born in Jonesboro, Ark., on February 21, 1934, to the late John Francis and Luella Beckett Frese. Patsy was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Vernon Stagner in 2009; her son, Brad Stagner in 1998; and her grandson, Jarod Ballengee in 2020.

   Survivors include her son, David Stagner of Temecula, CA; her daughter, Kathryn Ballengee of Cadiz; her brother, David Frese of Nashville, TN; her sisters, Sara Frese Piazza of Irvine, CA and Brenda Winters of Jonesboro, Ark; and four grandchildren.
