Patti Boyd, age 79, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her daughter’s home on Lafayette Road of natural causes. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1:00PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boyd was born February 24, 1939 in Howell, Michigan, the daughter of the late Everett Trollman and June Andreas Van Alstine. She was retired from Walmart Distribution Center after retirement she was a Foster Parent for seven years. Patti also worked as a Secretary for many years. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Boyd in 1987, her son, Stephen Chandler; her sister, Carol Cannoy.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff Chandler and his wife, Judy Keys Chandler of Crofton, KY, and Gregory Chandler and his wife, Edna of Iowa; her daughters, Tracy Lynn Demmin of Lockport, NY, Tonya Smith and her husband, Art of Phoenix, AZ, and Evelyn Stanley and her husband, Richard of Hopkinsville; her sister, Doris Sanford of Otisville, Michigan; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
