Oscar Duvall, age 91, of Hopkinsville passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Maddux Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brent Crabtree officiating and burial to follow in New Barren Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. The family has entrusted Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with handling the arrangements.
Mr. Duvall was born, on October 16, 1931, in Christian County, KY, the son of the late Howard Rodman, Sr. and Annie Pearl White Duvall. Oscar was a retired mechanic and civil service worker at Ft. Campbell. He proudly served his country during the Korean War. Oscar was a member of New Barren Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jane Loftus Duvall; his son, Howard Alan Duvall; his brothers, Elwood Duvall, H.R. Duvall Jr., and James W. Duvall and James H. Duvall; his sisters, Mildred Gamble, Elizabeth Fuller, Lola Haskins, Jeannie Armstrong, Elsie Pitzer and Edith West.
Survivors include his daughter, Jan Monday and her husband Roy of Christian County; his grandchild, Ross Monday and his wife Stephanie; his great-grandchild, Andrea Monday; his sister-in-law, Diane Boley (Randy); his brother-in-law, Donald Loftus (Gail); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of his wonderful caregivers.
