Norma “Sue” Moore Litchfield, age 85, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at the Jubilee House in Clarksville, TN of natural causes. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Maddux Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Hopper officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Litchfield was born in Providence, KY on February 5, 1936, the daughter of the late Lexie and Cozy Gamblin Dockery. Sue was a factory worker, a civil service worker for 14 years, school bus driver for Christian County Public Schools System for 8 years and in her later years a caregiver. She was a member of Greater Cumberland Baptist Church. She was a member of the Women’s Jaycees and former President of the Civitan Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Jammie Moore; her son, William “Billy” Heady; her daughter-in-law, Karen Yvonne Heady; her stepdaughter, Suzanne Litchfield Rettberg; her brother, Linville Dockery; her sisters, Aileen Hopkins, Blondie Frazier, Beatrice Hopper, Betty Jo Weaver, and Gayla Dean Hunt; and her step-grandson, Chris Schwab.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Keith D. Litchfield of Hopkinsville; sons, Terry Heady and his wife Beverly of Paducah, KY; Jimmy Moore and his wife Nancy of Cadiz, KY; Randy Moore and his wife Regina of Calvert City, KY; daughters, Barbara Dixon and her husband Seldon of Hopkinsville, KY; Cathy Dougherty and her husband Mike of Hopkinsville, KY; her step-daughter Kim Cooley and her husband Chris of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother, Pat Dockery of Madisonville, KY; her sister, Linda McKnight of Dawson Springs, KY; eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.
