Nola West Jackson, age 77, of Christian County, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Mitchell and Brother Bill Humphreys officiating and burial to follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Christian County, KY, on July 10, 1944, the daughter of the late Eugene “Popeye” and Eva Edna Grace West. Nola retired from Phelps Dodge. She was a lifetime member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she was the pianist for over 60 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Will Douglas West and Carl Edward “Nucy” West.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Larry T. Jackson of Christian County; her four sons, James “Jimmy” Crawford and his wife Susan of Hopkinsville, Allen Crawford and his wife Cindy of Christian County, Jonathan Crawford and his wife Kelly of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Jeremy Jackson of Christian County; her brother, Gary “Bugs” West and his wife Brenda of Christian County; her thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Shiloh Baptist Church.
