Nettie Learue McMillan, age 88, of McLean Ave, Hopkinsville passed away at 1:02 AM on Monday, April 30, 2018, at her home of natural causes. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Brumfield officiating with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mrs. McMillan was born in Steele, MO, on July 11, 1929, to the late Herman and Lilly Clayton Learue. She was a bookkeeper for Coke-Cola for many years and a homemaker. She was a member of Kelly Baptist Church for over 55 years. Nettie was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jackie “Jack” Leon McMillan in 2011; her son, David McMillan in 2010; her grandsons, Bryan Davis in 1988 and Joe Graham in 2017; her brother, Jimmy Learue, and her son-n-law, Jim Dillingham.
Survivors include her son, Jackie Wayne McMillan and his wife, Terry of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughters, Diana Dillingham of Cottontown, TN, Sherri Davis and her husband, Bobby of Hopkinsville, KY, and Debbie Johnson and her husband, Merrill of Hopkinsville, KY; a daughter-n-law, Linda McMillan of GA; her brothers, J.L. Learue, Scott Learue and Walter Learue all of MO; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
