Mildred Joiner Cady

Mildred Joiner Cady, age 88 of Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cady was born February 19, 1930 in Christian County, KY, the daughter of the late Chester Dare and Flossie Mae Orgain Joiner. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Christian County Sewage and Water Works. Mrs. Cady was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 71 years where she was a Sunday School teacher and served on several committees. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Cady, in 2016; one son, William Chester Cady; one brother, James Joiner; one sister, Ollie Margaret Joiner Smith.
Survivors include three daughters, Valerie Cady Cottrell and her husband, Don of Hopkinsville; Paulette Cady Buckingham and her husband, Michael of Grand Rivers, KY; Claudette Cady Ralph and her husband, Tony of Midland, GA; one brother, Billy Roy Joiner and his wife, Judy of New Bern, NC; Jerry Edward Joiner and his wife, Wanda of Hopkinsville; one sister, Linda Carol Joiner White of Hopkinsville; six grandchildren, Donna Cottrell-Smith, Angela Cottrell Huddleston, Nicole Ralph Greer, Matthew Ralph, Collin Buckingham, Jacob Buckingham; five great grandchildren, Allison Greer, Katelyn Greer, Leo Huddleston, Wil Huddelston, Stephen Cottrell.
