Mary Josephine Pool

Mary Josephine Pool age 93, of Hopkinsville passed away at 1:10 AM on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Christian Health Center of natural causes. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 1, 2019, at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Andy Haley officiating and burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
    Mrs. Pool was born on March 1, 1926, in Trigg County to the late Marvin Woods Davis and Pearl Keel Davis. She worked for over 50 years for Flynn Enterprises. She was of the Christian Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul D. Pool in 2005; her sister Lucille Bryant; and her canine companion Zachary who gave her many years of joy.
Survivors include her son, Roger Pool of Hopkinsville; her daughter Paulette Keller and her husband Phil of Hopkinsville; her sister Dixie Bush of Cadiz, KY; two grandchildren, Jeff Keller, Scott Pool; four great grandchildren, Krista Keller, Cassie Keller, Thomas Pool, Emily Smith; three great great grandchildren, Taylor Curless, Reagan Smith, and Riley Smith.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Christian Co. Humane Society or Max’s Hope.
