Mary Bell Bass

Mary Bell Grace Bass age 90, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lone Star General Baptist Cemetery, in Muhlenberg, KY. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Bass was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on November 6, 1931, the daughter of the late Elio T. and Carrie Mae Dunning Grace. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Lone Star General Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Junior Bass; and her brother, Alfred Grace.

Survivors include her sons, James Bass and his wife Kay, of Hopkinsville, Marvin Bass, of Fairview, Thomas Bass, of Hopkinsville; her daughter Kathie Grassham and her husband Tom, of Paducah; her grandchildren, Kelly Webb and her husband Lee, of Hopkinsville, Sarah Martin and her husband Derek, of Fancy Farm, Rebecca Cassidy, of Paducah, Whitnee Bass, of Bowling Green; and six great-grandchildren.
