Martha Wright

Martha May McGhee Wright, age 83, of Pembroke, KY passed away at 6:25 AM on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Covington’s Convalescent Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Pembroke United Methodist Church with Rev. David Banister officiating with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke. Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
   Mrs. Wright was born in Christian County on September 13, 1935, to the late Samuel Baggett McGhee and India Martha Primm McGhee. She worked in the Pembroke School Cafeteria and as a Private Duty Sitter. She was a member of Pembroke United Methodist Church and a charter member of St. John Methodist in Hopkinsville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Otho Eugene Wright; her two brothers, Billy McGhee and Jimmy McGhee; and one sister, Peggy McGhee Tucker.
   Survivors include two sons, J.E. Wright and his wife Connie of Pembroke, KY, David Wright and his wife Donna of Pembroke, KY; one daughter Frances Dianne Wright of Pembroke, KY; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
