Mark "Tony" Hamby

Mark “Tony” Hamby, age 64, of Crofton, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN. Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with a private graveside service at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Tony was born December 1, 1957, in Christian County, the son of the late William “Bill” Earl Hamby and Sue Cline Keel. He was an Electrical Maintenance Technician for Danfoss, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother; Wayne “Bone” Hamby; and his stepfather David Keel.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years Mary Hamby, of Hopkinsville; his daughters, Christi (Chase) Combs, of Herndon, Tara (Jacob) Sprenger, of Crofton, Paige (Gunnar) Crick, of Crofton, Sarah West, of Crofton, Heather DeArmond, of Hopkinsville; his son, Clifton (Jennifer) Phelps, of Glasgow, KY; his brother, Robin (Nicole) Keel; his sisters Susan (Randy) Graham, of Hopkinsville, Elizabeth Taylor, of Providence, KY; and his grandchildren, Jase Sprenger, Jayden Sprenger, Abby Crick, Anderson Crick, Zoe Combs, Fiona Combs, Mia Baskerville, India Phelps, Raegan Phelps, and Eli Phelps.
