Marguerite Rose Terpening

   Marguerite Rose Terpening, age 79, of Hopkinsville, passed away on April 12, 2020, at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY, of natural causes. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Ms. Terpening was born in Clinton, Massachusetts on February 3, 1941, the daughter of the late Chester Allan and Helen Winn Gable. Marguerite was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Morton Terpening Sr.; her son, Martin “Doug” Terpening; and her two sisters, Barbara Gibson, and Lucille Slauenwhite.

   Survivors include her sons, Michael Terpening and his wife Danielle, Brian Terpening and his wife Patti of Texas, Morton A. Terpening Jr. and his wife Tina of Hopkinsville, Kevin J. Terpening of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Dara Alder and her husband Tim of Crofton; her 15 grandchildren; and her 17 great grandchildren.

   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund at 280 Pyle Lane, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
