   Margaret E. Downing Hale, age 67, of Crofton passed away Friday, January 04, 2019, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation from 9:00AM until time of service at 10:00AM on Tuesday, January 8, 2018 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Mrs. Hale was born in Lyon County, KY, on May 4, 1951 to the late Willie E. and Genie Belle Chambers Forsythe. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Robert ”Bob” Hale in 2018, her son, James Lawrence “Larry” Downing in 1995; her brother, Harold Eugene Forsythe; her sisters, Judy Forsythe and Betty Ann Forsythe.
   Survivors include her brother, Rudy Forsythe and his wife, Fran of Murray; her sisters, Rose Tooley-Oatts and her husband, Malcolm Oatts of Hopkinsville, and Josephine “Jody” Hooker and her husband, Mike of Paducah; her step-sons, Mike Hale of Deland, FL, and Tim Hale of Titusville, FL; two step grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
