Madge Bragg

Madge W. Bragg, age 84, of Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Richard and Rev. Brian Elwell officiating and burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bragg was born in Christian County, KY, on December 25, 1934, the daughter of the late Alfred Walker Wood, Jr. and Nita Russell Wood. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Episcopal Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nita Shivar.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, William N. Bragg of Hopkinsville; her son, Bruce Stanley Elwell and his wife Jennifer of Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Brian Elwell and his wife Elizabeth, Rachael, Austin, and Ashley Elwell, and one great granddaughter, Eleanor Elwell.
