Lula Belle “MiMi” Bass, age 84, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 10, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Dorian Flynn officiating and burial to follow in McKinney Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Bass was born in Bluff Springs, KY, on April 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Hulan Stamps and Sibyl Cook Johnson. Lula was a nursing supervisor for Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She was a member of Bluff Springs Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Volney Stamps
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Eugene Bass of Hopkinsville; her sons, Andy Bass and his wife Becky of Hopkinsville, and Tim Bass and his wife Karen of Hopkinsville; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
